Terms of Service

Plain-English terms for using Veyandor. Not legal advice — have a lawyer review them. Placeholders in square brackets will be filled in before publishing.

Not legal advice

These Terms of Service are a plain-English draft prepared for review. They are not legal advice. Have a qualified attorney review them before publishing.

Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using Veyandor you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY] ('Veyandor', 'we', 'us').

License grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Veyandor on devices you own or control, solely for your internal business or personal purposes. You may not resell, sublicense, or distribute Veyandor or any portion of it.

Pro license and license check

Veyandor Pro features require a valid license key. As a condition of using Pro features the app performs a periodic license check that contacts our validation endpoint. This check sends only your license ID, IP address, and timestamp — see the Privacy Policy for details. You must maintain an internet connection for this check to succeed. We may suspend or revoke a Pro license if we detect unauthorized use, sharing, or violation of these Terms.

Lifetime redemption codes

If you purchased a 'lifetime' license or received a lifetime redemption code, you received a license to use the version of Veyandor current at the time of purchase plus any updates we choose to provide. Lifetime codes are revocable — we may terminate a lifetime license if you violate these Terms, engage in abuse, or if we have a legal obligation to do so. 'Lifetime' refers to the reasonable commercial life of the product, not in perpetuity; if we permanently discontinue Veyandor, lifetime license obligations cease.

Bring your own Claude

Veyandor requires you to supply your own installation of Anthropic's Claude Code running under your own Anthropic account and subscription. Veyandor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, PBC. 'Claude' is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. All Claude API usage is billed directly to your Anthropic account at your plan's rates. We have no control over Anthropic's pricing, availability, or terms.

Acceptable use

You may not use Veyandor to: (a) violate any applicable law or regulation; (b) infringe third-party intellectual property rights; (c) generate, distribute, or store content that is unlawful, harmful, or abusive; (d) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the license-validation or anti-abuse systems in the software; (e) share a single license key across multiple users or organizations; or (f) circumvent any usage limits or security controls.

Disclaimer of warranties

Veyandor is provided 'as is' and 'as available' without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that it will be compatible with any particular version of Claude Code or operating system.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will [LEGAL ENTITY] or its officers, employees, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of or inability to use Veyandor, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability for direct damages will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) USD $100.

Termination

Either party may terminate the license at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you violate these Terms. On termination, all rights granted to you cease. Sections covering disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms on our website and, where feasible, notify you by email. Continued use of Veyandor after the effective date of a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [GOVERNING LAW], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the courts of [GOVERNING LAW].
