Veyandor is operated by Ben MacDonald ("we", "us"). This policy explains, in plain English, what data Veyandor handles and what it never touches. Questions: hockeyben16@gmail.com.

Veyandor is a local-first desktop application. It runs on your computer and drives your own installation of Anthropic's Claude Code using your own Claude subscription. Veyandor never receives, transmits, or stores your source code, prompts, agent conversations, or any other content you work on. For that content Veyandor is not a data processor — it never touches it. We do not operate any server that your content or email flows through.

If — and only if — you connect a mailbox, Veyandor requests the minimum scopes needed for the features you use: • Google: gmail.modify — read your messages so the AI can summarize, triage, and organize them (labels, drafts, read/unread; it does not permanently delete messages); gmail.send — send only the messages you (or, at the permission level you explicitly choose, the AI) approve; userinfo.email — show you which account is connected. • Microsoft: Mail.Read, Mail.ReadWrite, Mail.Send, offline_access, User.Read — the equivalent read/organize/send access via Microsoft Graph. Veyandor accesses this data only after you complete the provider's sign-in and grant consent, and only for the account(s) you connect. Access tokens are encrypted at rest on your device and are never sent to us. Disconnecting a mailbox in the app deletes its stored access from your device; uninstalling Veyandor removes it entirely.

Your email does not pass through any server operated by us. It leaves your device in exactly two cases: 1. To your mail provider. Veyandor talks directly to Google's Gmail API and Microsoft's Graph API from your computer to fetch, organize, and send mail. 2. To your AI provider, only to do what you ask. When you have the AI read, summarize, draft, or reply to mail, the relevant message content is sent to the AI provider powering Veyandor (currently Anthropic, operator of Claude, under your own account) solely to perform that task in the moment. It is not used to train or improve generalized AI/ML models, and Anthropic processes it under its own terms (which, for API traffic, do not train on your content by default). No human at Veyandor reads your mail. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else. You control what the AI may do per mailbox (read-only → draft → send-with-your-approval → autonomous), every send at the approval level waits for your explicit sign-off, and you can lower a permission level at any time with immediate effect.

Veyandor's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy), including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, Google user data obtained through the scopes above is used only to provide and improve Veyandor's user-facing email features (reading, organizing, drafting, and sending the mail you asked the AI to handle). It is not transferred to others except as necessary to provide those features, for security, or to comply with applicable law; it is not used to train generalized AI/ML models; and it is not used for advertising.

You can disconnect any mailbox inside Veyandor at any time, which deletes its stored access on your device. You can also revoke Veyandor's access directly with your provider: for Google at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, and for Microsoft at https://account.live.com/consent/Manage.

We collect only what is necessary to run the service: • Account data — your email address and account identifiers, used to authenticate you and associate a license with your account. • License records — a license ID, email address, purchase timestamp, and redemption status stored in our database. • License check — each time the Veyandor Pro edition starts it performs a periodic license check. This call sends only your license ID, your IP address, and a timestamp to our validation endpoint. It is used solely to confirm the license is valid. We do not transmit or log your code, files, prompts, agent outputs, or any telemetry about what you build. • Update checks — when you manually check for updates (Config → Updates), the app requests the latest release metadata from GitHub. GitHub receives your IP address under their own privacy policy. • Support contact — if you email us or file a bug report, we receive whatever you include in that message.

We rely on the following third-party services to operate: • Clerk — authentication and account management (https://clerk.com/privacy) • Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting for license records (https://neon.tech/privacy) • Vercel — web hosting for this website (https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy) • GitHub — binary distribution; installer downloads come from GitHub Releases under your own GitHub session We do not sell your data to any third party and we do not use advertising networks.

Veyandor drives Claude Code locally on your machine using your own credentials. All prompts, responses, agent sessions, and code remain on your device (and in Anthropic's infrastructure under your own Anthropic account and their Privacy Policy). Veyandor is not a processor for that content and cannot access it.

Account and license records are retained for as long as your account exists or as required by applicable law. If you close your account or request deletion, email us at the address below and we will remove your personal data from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

This website uses session cookies set by our authentication provider for sign-in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Veyandor is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region).
